Let me just say, I've been there.... Overcome with adoration for that new little baby and also completely overwhelmed with all the doubt. I've latched through the pain, shed many tears in the shower, set my alarm for 3:00am to pump, and so much more. I'm so grateful I was able to find someone to help guide me during that vulnerable time. My lactation consultant provided a plan and kept me grounded and I was able to get to a place where I felt confident and supported in my breastfeeding journey. Years later, that experience inspired my career today.
I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and received my lactation education from the University of San Diego, completing my clinical training through both simulation and in private practice. In order to refine and better care for my families I take continuing education courses to stay up to date on current breastfeeding management and protocols.
My goal is to provide warm, manageable, evidence-based care and support, always without judgement.
